Fate-weaving, Time-sight, Oracle's Art[]

One of the rarest and most enigmatic schools of mana, Prophecy Magic allows practitioners to glimpse possible futures and interpret the threads of destiny. Unlike direct divination, prophecy magic draws upon the deep currents of mana flowing through the ley lines to perceive potential outcomes and pivotal moments in time.

The art manifests differently across races: Elven seers experience vivid waking dreams, mortal oracles receive cryptic symbolic visions, while demon prophets perceive dark omens through shadow and flame. Most prophecies appear as metaphorical glimpses rather than literal views of the future, requiring careful interpretation.

Key limitations make prophecy magic unreliable as a constant tool. The strain of viewing multiple timelines can drive practitioners to madness. Additionally, the act of receiving a prophecy can itself alter the future being viewed, creating paradoxical feedback loops. Most prophecies focus on significant events that could impact the flow of mana itself, rather than personal or trivial matters.

The magic appears to have emerged during The Weave of Magic, when mana first manifested in the world. Historical records show that major prophecies preceded several watershed moments including The Great Schism of Realms and The Dragonfall War, though many such predictions were only understood in hindsight.

Modern practitioners are exceedingly rare, with perhaps only a handful of true prophets existing at any time. Most focus on reading immediate dangers or short-term possibilities rather than attempting to unravel grand destinies. The magic demands both incredible mana control and the wisdom to handle the weight of potential futures.
